The Nityashetra Dance School of Southern California is dedicated to preserving and promoting the classical dance forms of both South and North India through instructional classes and professional performances.
We teach, present, and perform Bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance), Folk Dance (village dances of India including Kuruti, (a gypsy dance), Kollatam, Raas and Garba), and Bollywood (the modern beats of India) in and around Southern California.
Training artists, not just teaching students
A renowned teacher, dancer, choreographer, and nattuvanar, Deepali Vora has diligently pursued to bring out some of Southern California's finest exponents of Bharatanatyam.
The School has had the honor of performing in prestigious locations such as the Orpheum Theater in Downtown Los Angeles and with various groups such as the City of Torrance, City of Cerritos, Boeing, Toyota, and Kaiser.
